Our Chosen Sub Genre

We have decided to use the sub genre of horror thiriller. we chose this genre as we all like moves in that genre. We have chosen to use the films 'The Candy Man' and 'Grudge' to help guide us through our task.

For the events in our opening sequence  we would like to achieve a similar 'summon a ghost' as it is in the film 'Candy Man'. We're going to try our best to get the best effect of this as we can.

We plan to have our antagonist looking similar to the one on the film 'The Grudge', as we all agreed to having that character looking pale with deep black eyes and hair, creating the 'freaky' effect.

Our Continuity Sequence

This is our continuity sequence which we planned and filmed in school. We used a variety of different shots and we stuck to our brief. Jodie and Ellie are the actors and me and Kelcie are filming.
